Sophia Levy-Presner is the owner of Building Builds HR that builds company’s Human Resources departments from the ground up!
With a unique educational background in Information Technology and programming and a BA in Sociology, allows Sophia to marry technology and the knowledge of people into the programs created. Sophia is certified as a leader/executive in Human Resources with the HRPA. The last three HR positions have been executive positions which were head of HR.
Working in different companies/industries gives Sophia the ability to adapt to different environments through working experience in retail, food services, professional services, insurance, financial, technology and healthcare.
Her skills and qualifications are vast, with 30 years in HR. People and building programs is her passion! She started in payroll, benefits and compensation and grew her generalist skills from there. Skilled in employee relations, vision and culture building, change management, HR strategy, performance management, rewards and recognition, organizational development, talent management and acquisition and much more. Having built five HR infrastructure from the ground up, now allows her to help other companies to build their HR.
Her uniqueness comes from having the ability to tie HR and operations together and work with a company to build on the two. Operations is one of the most important functions in a company. When you marry the two functions, you build a best place to work company.
